Open Endgame Post
So there's a text cut to avoid spoilers because we try to be nice about that in this hobby but HOLY SHIT MAN. SO MUCH HAPPENED IN THIS MOVIE. THERE'S A LOT TO UNPACK HERE.
While everyone leaves this movie changed, Clint is arguably one of the ones changed the most, due to all he goes through. Losing his family, a long period of time as a vigilante murderer, and then the re-ignition of his hope only to lose the only family he has left to seek the resolution he's been desperately hoping for for five years... And that doesn't touch on the giant battle that he (once again) nearly died in and all the shit that came with it.
It's a lot. He's got issues.
I'm looking to do things with Clint post-EG dealing with those issues, or not dealing with them if you want to go AU! If you'd like to tag with Clint about Endgame-related-things, this is the place to do so, since I'm trying to keep spoilers corralled. Anyone who could feasibly know him or track him down after everything's settled, I'm good with assuming they met at the battle. If you want to figure out an AU where Nat livesI don't think she's gone for good, but for the purposes of the narrative at the moment she is then I'm all up for that. Long shot dream of anyone playing the kids, I'd love you for-fucking-ever. Also him adopting other young kids from the movies because lol Clint it's his thing. I'm also very happy to play cross-canon that deals with EG stuff and maybe getting him some freaking therapy. And training someone (maybe a certain Kate) to take over his mantle so he can finally retire for good.

They take a minute, because they need it. Because knowing that Natasha isn't coming back hurts in a way that he wasn't ready for. That none of them are ready for. Clint slips away as they try to regroup and get the stone somewhere safe. Steve knows he probably wants time alone, but he also knows what he's capable of when he's in pain.
That and he knows no one was more family to Natasha than Clint.
He finds him sitting on a dock, overlooking the lake. Steve makes his way down the boards, his footsteps heavy and slow, before he sits on a bench. He looks down at his hands. ]
